Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

  • No smoking allowed inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.

  • No events allowed.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
  • Tweetsie Den is pet friendly for one mature, well-trained dog 30 pounds or less. Pet fee is $25/nt & tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. Thank you for observing this rule and not requesting exceptions.

Fees and Payments

  • Pet fee is $25/nt & tax for one mature, well-trained dog 30 pounds or less.
  • Firewood may be added by reaching out more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night plus tax.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Towels and bed linens will be provided for you.
  • Hair dryer is provided.
  • High-speed internet is provided.
  • Clothes washing machine and dryer are available.
  • Well stocked kitchen with all utensils needed to cook meals, including cooking basics, stove, oven, dishwasher, and toaster.
  • There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector are installed.
  • The owner uses a security camera on the front porch mounted to the corner of the home above the steps which monitors the main entryway. No cameras are pointed to the interior of the home or common gathering areas.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
  • Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
